Wale Bakare is a respected international Health & Safety Management Systems Specialist and Trainer. He has delivered training and worked across the world including countries like United Kingdom, Nigeria, Ghana, Turkey, U.A.E., Cameroun, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, South Africa and Zambia. He is a certified OHSMS Lead Auditor and a member of several International Professional bodies including the Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria (ISPON), The International Institute of Risk & Safety Managers (IIRSM), The Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH), American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) and the Association of First Aiders (UK) amongst others.

He is a World Bank and European Commission Consultant and his experience and expertise in the Industry have afforded him the opportunity to coordinate and supervise many health and safety projects both in the public and private sectors in Nigeria. He was a Member of The Technical Committee on the Review of The Water Sector & Sanitation Policy in Lagos State as well as the team that developed the Draft Water Policy for Rivers State on behalf of the Rivers State Ministry of Water Resources.
